Categories of application for Employment

  1. Application form (TM.9) Applying for a resident’s visa in Thailand
  2. Health certificate from a government hospital (issued within 3 months)
  3. Certificate of no criminal record from the applicant’s domicile which must be officially certified by Thai consulate in that country or the applicant’s national embassy located in Thailand
  4. Copy of the applicant’s educational certificate must be officially certified by the national embassy located in Thailand
  5. The letter of employment history from the Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment Library and copy of Work Permit in every book and every page
  6. The employment certification letter from the applicant’s workplace which is signed by the company’s authorized person required the last 2 years and employment application with employment agreement (if any)
  7. Copy of the applicant’s annual personal income tax form (Por. Ngor. Dor. 91 or 90) with receipts for the previous 3 years prior to the application submission year and a copy of the filed personal income tax returns e.g. P.N.D. 50 which must be officially certified by the revenue officers.
  8. Copy of the applicant’s monthly income tax form (Por. Ngor. Dor. 1) with receipts (if any) from the beginning of the year of application submission (January) until the previous month of application submission which must be officially certified by the revenue officers
  9. Certificate of corporate registration which is issued and officially certified by the Ministry of Commerce within the previous 3 months prior to the application submission date
  10. Copy of corporate registration that the applicant has worked for 3 years before the request was submitted
  11. List of the shareholders which is issued and officially certified by the Ministry of Commerce within the previous 3 months prior to the application submission date. If the applicant holds shares of 54 million baht or more, please attach a list of shareholders for the past 3 years
  12. Copy of the value-added tax (VAT) or the specific business tax registration e.g. Phor. Phor. 01, Phor. Phor. 09, and Phor. Phor. 20
  13. Copy of the financial statements (balance sheet, profit, and loss statement) together with Phor. Ngor. Dor. 50 (company income tax form) and receipts which are officially certified by the Revenue Department for the previous 3 years prior to the application submission year
  14. A Certified Letter issued by the commercial bank in Thailand which reveals evidence of export industry for the previous 3 years prior to the application submission year (Only Export Industry)
  15. A Certified Letter by the relevant tourism agency of bringing tourists into Thailand for the previous 3 years prior to the application submission year (Only Tourism Industry)
  16. Any corporate receiving investment promotion from BOI must show a copy of the Promotion Certificate or documents showing that you have been promoted business within BOI
  17. Map of residence and place of work
  18. Personal information sheet and the photographs of the applicant locating in front of the workplace, outside the office (alone), inside the office with the staff, outside the factory (alone), inside the factory with the staff, with the machines and products (if any) also 18 photographs of the applicant with his/her family taking at the residence both outside and inside. All of the photographs must be postcard size on A4 letterhead (company stationery) with description.
  19. Additional documents are considered as appropriate by the immigration officer.

All copy documents must be certified true copy;

  • The Applicant must sign to certify on every page of the Applicant's documents.
  • The Authorized signatory of the Company or Limited Partnership must sign to certify all corporate documents and have them stamped with the official company/limited partnership seal on every page.
  • Documents related to filing Tax Return, filing Social Security must be certified from the relevant government agency.
  • Please note that copies of documents must show original documents to the Immigration Bureau on the appointment date as well.

Did you know?

  • The Ministry of Interior will be announcing an annual quota of aliens to have residence in the Kingdom which is stipulations are applied 100 persons of each nationality, Colony or colonies of each country shall be considered as one country while each Sovereign state shall be considered as one country and 50 persons for stateless people.
  • The application will be open around September - October until the last business day of that year on official days and hours.
  • Officials will give a permit seal to stay awaiting consideration for the first for 180 days and the next time for 90 days until know the results of the immigration committee.
  • The period of consideration for each year is uncertain due to the policy of the Immigration Commission and the Ministry of Interior.
  • Foreigners who over 14 years old from the date of submitting the request must have a criminal background check.

Remarks;

  • The Applicant must submit the application in person. (Appear in person)
  • The above mentioned time will start from the date we submitting completed documents, not include holidays & public holidays.
  • The Resident’s Visa in Thailand will be granted or not, the fee will not be refunded in any case.
